国際交流委員会について
国際交流委員会は、諸外国・地域・研究機関等と、特別活動の研究・実践に関わる情報交換、研究交流等の企画、立案、推進に関する諸活動を行っています。
現在、（1）潜在的国際交流相手の予備的調査ＷＧ、（2）対エジプト交流ＷＧ、（3）大会・紀要等の国際化ＷＧ、の3つのＷＧを設置して活動しています。
（1）潜在的国際交流相手の予備的調査ＷＧ
ＷＡＬＳ（World Association of Lesson Studies）をはじめ、特別活動に関わる国際的組織と本学会との連携のあり方について検討しています。

参考：（国際交流委員会の設置前ですが）2022年9月21日、マレーシアで開催されたＷＡＬＳの大会で「Lesson Study and Tokkatsu: A Special Conference Strand」というタイトルでシンポジウムが行われ、日本特別活動学会の会員も登壇しました。
Have you ever wondered how Japanese schools build the teacher collaboration that underlies Lesson Study? Have you ever wondered how Japanese teachers nurture students’ willingness to engage in challenging learning? Tokkatsu (literally, “Special Activities”) are part of Japan’s official curriculum, implemented in all schools. 本学会の国際化の可能性や是非について検討します。
現在、試行的に、大会の自由研究発表を英語で発表できるようにするための準備を行っています。

日本特別活動学会の正式英文名称は、
Japanese Association for the Study of Extracurricular Activities
です。これは、以下の答申に基づいて2018年度の総会で決定したものです。
